OG VARTOR MEDIUM VOLTAGE POWER CAPACITORS DESCRIPTION:

OG Vartor capacitors are also called “Metal-lumped capacitors” . Dielectric material is made of low loss, rough polypropylene film and electrode is made of aluminum foil produced specially for condenser. Several layers of PP and two layers of aluminum foil are wrapped together, and make flattened soft spirals. Terminals connections of these windings, which are called “Capacitor Element”, occur with tin-coated copper conductors. The OG Vartor consists of many flat elements. These elements are low-power and low-voltage condensers. The parts connected to each other paralel or serial form stronger power condensers which can operate high voltages. The elements are electrically connected, packaged with insulating materials and placed into steel boxes. The boxes of the capacitors are welded after leaving oil filling holes.  After sealed with the weld, it is completely dehumidified by programmed for a long time under vacuum at 3.10 mbar and impregnated with dielectric oil. Dielectric oil is a non-PCB, non-toxic and environmentally friendly high quality material with no harm to health. It disappears in nature soon. . Therefore there are no specific instructions or restrictions for destruction or possible leaks to the nature. The chemical compound of this material is carbon, hydrogen and oxygen.

 

USAGE AREA:

OG Medium Voltage Capacitors; canbe used for industrial power plants with medium voltage network and for reactive power compensation in energy distribution facilities, as individual compensation where the voltage is low, in induction furnace systems, etc. . OG condensers’  reliability is from its design, material quality and modern production facilities.

As already mentioned, it is made from low loss and high quality materials and tested with special measuring instruments which are in compliance with international standards. The main structure of KONDAS OG Vartor is low loss polypropylene film, Alüminium foil, dielectric oil and insulation material.
